Asus has launched its 2020 flagship gaming smartphone ROG Phone 3. It is a successor of ROG phone 2 which was launched in 2019, ROG phone 3 has almost the same dimensions of last year’s ROG Phone 2, yet it comes with various hardware-level upgrades. The Asus ROG Phone 3 comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC and includes a GameCool 3 heat dissipating system with a redesigned copper 3D vapour chamber and a larger graphite film over what’s available on the existing model. The gaming phone also features AirTrigger 3 ultrasonic buttons and includes dual, front-firing speakers. The ROG Phone 3 also comes with a clip-on AeroActive Cooler 3 accessory that has a kickstand and built-in fan to reduce the surface temperature by up to 4-degree Celsius.

The Lenovo Legion Duel gaming phone ships with a 6.65-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate. It offers dual speakers and 240Hz touch sampling. The side-mounted 20-megapixel selfie camera is said to offer users an uninterrupted display experience. It has been added for recording commentary during gaming sessions. The smartphone also comes with a built-in fingerprint reader, pressure-sensitive side triggers, and 4 mics for optimal sound recording.
Lenovo has announced that it’s already optimized the 144Hz display and shoulder triggers for 130+ games. The gaming device also comes with an advanced cooling system with two heat pipes as well as Lenovo’s U-Engine dual X-axis vibration motor. The company is promising over 100 types of long vibration patterns and 13 kinds of low-response ones.
It is powered by a Snapdragon 865+, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage. At the back, the device features a 64-megapixel primary camera and a 16-megapixel ultrawide snapper. There is a total of 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. The company claims that the charger can fully charge this device in just 30 minutes. The phone supports Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and two USB-C ports.

Asus ROG Phone 3 price and offers
The Asus ROG Phone 3 price in India has been set at $799 or Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant, while the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage option of the phone carries a price tag of Rs. 57,999. The retail package of both models comes bundled with an Aero Case, though the top-end variant also includes the Aero Active Cooler 3 accessory. The retail box of the ROG Phone 3 also includes a 30-Watt ROG Hypercharge Charger and a 3.5mm USB Type-C to 3.5mm adapter. Moreover, the Asus smartphone will go on sale in the country through Flipkart starting August 6 at 12am IST.
Alongside the ROG Phone 3, Asus has brought a ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad at Rs. 9,999, TwinView Dock 3 at Rs. 19,999, Mobile Desktop Dock 2 at Rs. 12,999, a Glass Screen Protector at Rs. 699, a Neon Aero Case at Rs. 1,999, and a Lightning Armor Case at Rs. 2,999. The company has also launched a ROG Clip that lets you connect the phone to a PlayStation 4, Xbox, or Stadia controller at a price tag of Rs. 1,999.
